Finally managed to drag this one over the finish line! Usual Special Hobby mixture of soft plastic, resin and pe. The kit itself is a strange mixture of nicely detailed areas to areas where they couldn´t really be bothered. I added the nav lights, and flap under the engine, replaced the wheels from spares, scratch built the machine guns and antenne, (kit antenne pe too fragile), and scribed out the control surfaces on the wings and tail. The wings are butt joints which I reinforced as they are pretty heavy.
A big model in 1/48 and quite probably not the most aerodynamic design from ww2 the type did manage to put a few on the Tirpitz manned by extremely brave men.

That looks a superb build! Your scribing of the control surfaces really adds some life to what would otherwise be some large slabs of wing.
Special Hobby kits are an acquired taste in my opinion; you seem to have taken to them exceptionally well Sir!

That sure came out nice.

That is a great looking build, Stamford. The Barracuda might not be the most handsome aircraft ever to see service but it has a certain brutal charm to it IMHO.

Great model of a really interesting aircraft. Sounds like a lot of work, but it certainly paid off.
