Alouette II?

Post by Spaceowl »

Does anyone know of a maker of this aircraft in 1 72nd? Apart from the Mach2 one, that is, that is by all accounts a bit of a beast. Research hasn't turned up anything so far.

What is it with French helicopters in gentleman's scale? No Alouette 2, no Super Frelon...

According to Scalemates Extratech did a series of them in 1/72, not sure where you'd find them though. :-|

Mach 2 do a Frelon, part way through it now. Not the cleanest of mouldings and smudgy detail to finer parts but it could be 'convinced' into becoming a decent model..
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

I have one. It's very fine resin and photo etch kit from a few years ago. Quite rare I managed to get one via eBay. The Mach 2 kit is easier to get hold off I think a version might have been rereleased recently but though it injection plastic it will require some work.
