Just finished my Airfix 1/72 E.E. Canberra PR.9.

Built out of the box and painted with Vallejo acrylic silver.

Nice work, Chris.
I recently rebuilt by old Matchbox PR.9 using these very same markings pinched from the Airfix kit.
The silver finish does look good on Canberras.
