Supermarine Stranraer 'Skeena Queen',Queen Charlotte Airways
Re: Supermarine Stranraer 'Skeena Queen',Queen Charlotte Air
I can only echo what the others have said- outstanding model! The old gal sure cleaned up nicely from her silver dope or TSS colors! I had never seen this scheme before, either- now I wish I had snagged the decal sheet when it was available. Put this one in an acrylic cube or display case; need to show her off and you don't want to have to dust amongst all that rigging! Well done, sir!

Thanks! And yes you got that right. Dust is an eternal foe here.

Wow, it might have been a difficult build that maybe gave you a few grey hairs but what a job you've made of that, GMG. First class, it looks brilliant in that livery.

Talk about a stunner! This baby is quite a head-turner and is worthy of pride-if-place on your display shelf!

That is a yellow wing with a difference! I had not seen this scheme before - very striking indeed. Biplanes are not the easiest of models - large ones in particular are not - that model is a tribute to a skilled modeller.
