Matchbox 1/72 Meteor NF.14

Post by Falcon »

Just finished a fresh build of the third kit I built way back when I was 9 years old.

Matchbox 1/72 Meteor NF.14 built out of the box and brush painted.

Most excellent! That's got to be some of the crispest canopy framing I've ever seen.

Lovely job Chris. Coincidentally, I'm just doing a restoration job on one I started over 30 years ago. Almost a bare bones refit - I had to pull the wings off and reset them amongst other things. I will finish mine with the Belgian markings - I hope it comes out looking as good as yours (although it will be wheels up as I've lost the undercarriage parts over the years and I'm hoping the canopy is around here somewhere too!).

Cheers
Al.
