1/72 Kovozavody Prostejov Sncan NC.701 Martinet
This is the 1/72 Kovozavody Prostejov Sncan NC.701 Martinet; a nice looking aircraft but not the world's best kit.... a few fit issues but with a little effort it can be persuaded to go together
Paints are my usual mix of Humbrol, Revell and Tamiya acrylics with W & N gloss vanishes before and after decals

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Although I've already commented on this build in your WW thread, it is worthy of a further comment here. That is a great build of a lovely looking aircraft. Just one point though - do the tyres need finishing? it looks like you have sanded out the join between the wheel halves after painting them on the sprues and have forgotten to touch up the paint after assembly. Ignore me if I'm wrong and if I am I apologise!
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Well spotted Shaun - I completely missed that.
Fantastic build iggie. Not a subject I am familiar with but it looks really cool. Top build.

My bad
Good spot Shaun, exactly as you say; wheels painted in halves, glued, sanded and fitted. Then forgotten!
Cheers for the kind comments otherwise, it is a colourful wee thing and will add a splash of colour to the cabinets

Great-looking model. Don't know the a/c.
Glad you left the surface detail. KP models have very fine surface detail that does not distract from its overall appearance. Also they fill a gap left by other manufacturers who steer clear of certain aircraft. That's how I discovered them. Pity they don't do locating pins for wings & fuselarge, so I never know what glue to use.

Cheers CNG
This kit was actually a 2010 release by R V Aircraft, re-boxed by KP in 2015. It does have some locating pins and must of the detail is provided by very finely engraved panel lines and rivets.
As for glue, when assembling parts without pins or similar then I use Tamiya extra rapid which will hold them very quickly and without running everywhere!

Delightful model!
I think the KP kit was originally released as the Czech Aero C.3A version of the Luftwaffe Siebel 204 communications/light transport aircraft.
So this gains another life as yet another version!
Cheers,
David

I admire this an awful lot Iggie, and do you know why? Because I too have built this kit and, well, let's be polite, it's 'challenging'!
It put me of KP kits for life! So a hearty well done mate!

I built the Aero version a long time ago. It was in a crushed box that resulted in a cracked canopy. I painted it in , but it in boring green - this paint schemeris far more appealing.

Re: 1/72 Kovozavody Prostejov Sncan NC.701 Martinet
Thanks for the kind words folks!
I have to say that the two (recent) KP kits I have built have given me far less trouble than the new Valom releases; the SARO Cloud came very (and I mean VERY) close to becoming a cloud of smoke, not plastic.....

Not familiar with the aircraft but the model looks well tidy.
