Trumpeter 1/72 Westland Wyvern S.4

Post by Falcon »

Finished another model today. This is the Trumpeter 1/72 Westland Wyvern S.4.

I began building this model about 6 years ago, then it got sidelined and spent a huge amount of time on the 'pending' pile.

I finally summoned up the courage to get her completed.

Great result Chris and nice to see one finished

I started one for the Suez GB but binned it after a major paint disaster! I recall it was a nice kit to work on
Best wishes

And we're glad you did!

I love the Wyvern, a 'glorious monstrosity' if ever there was one, and that's a class bit of modelling there.

Very nice indeed!
Brought back memories of the Frog model that I could not afford and when I could, it had been sold.
Very much wanted to represent an 830 squadron machine from HMS Eagle that saw combat in 1956.

A long time in the making perhaps but what a great result, Chris. The Wyvern is a proper beast of an aeroplane!
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.
