1/48 Airfix Folland Gnat T.1 In Flight Final Reveal

Post by Sunray »

What an excellent kit and photo etch set. The only downside of this kit is the pilot apart from that I loved this build and and the full build thread is at http://www.uamf.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=15757 Here are the photo's of the finished article.

Here is a little extra bit with the help of my "little" 6ft fifteen year old son holding the Gnat in the air so I could take a photograph with the sky in the background. Then I Photoshoped the acrylic rod out. The other image I produced using Painter 2018 to produce the print as a bit of fun.

Fan-bloody-tastic, Ian!
Give it pride of place, at least until your next masterpiece.
I wish I could attempt this finish in 1/72.

Cheers,
