This is my second build of a Beriev MBR2 in recent months. This one was kindly donated by a fellow modeller who had made a tentative start on it but got no further.
The main parts were quite nicely moulded, but quite a few parts had to be scratch built, including some detailed work on the engine. The gun turret transparent part was too thin and crumpled at the top to be used so I moulded a new one. The flight deck canopy was an impossible fit so I had to slice it down the middle and cobble it together. All in all, however, it was a fairly straightforward build.
Apologies for the poor lighting. It was taken indoors without any special equipment - let's say it represents a weak low angled Russian sun in late Autumn.

That looks beautiful. A superb build.

No vacform is an easy build and that one is top of the shop - nice work V.

As usual you demonstrate to the rest of us what can be done with a vac form if time and patience is spent on them. I for one would never guess that this is a vacform - the finish is just too good.
