Well, a while back, I purchased the Eduard Spitfire XVI double-pack, with the full intention of building the pair of the aircraft as preserved examples.
I chickened out!
I had a look at the enormous pile of plastic in the box and it made my eyes water at the thought of attempting to make something reasonable out of it. Nothing wrong with the kit (so far as I could tell), but more to do with my skill level than anything else.
So I sold them. And then I bought the weekend edition, then chickened out of building that, too!
However, third time lucky, as I decided to bite the bullet and get another weekend version to attempt.
I rather like that racing scheme!

Daz, they're really fun kits to build. Just double check all your fits. Scrap paint off and don't rush. A minor fit issue on the cockpit parts can cause major fit problems with the fuselage, so take your time, dry fit, and don't glob the paint on too thick.
