I bought this one at the recent (2017) national show at Telford. I think it cost me £5.

As with most Execuform kits, it could be described as 'crude'. The basic shapes are provided but with no hint of surface detail. There are no supplementary parts such as props, undercarriage legs or shapes for windows. All these items have to be scratch built. There were no decals so I hand painted the main cheat line and made decals for the rest. As with all vacform kits, you get out of what you are prepared to put into it.

So that's the Gosling/Wigeon, Goose and Mallard all done - now I should build the Albatross.

Beautiful! I've been meaning to finish one of these for a couple of years now.

Oh, never heard of that plane before? Is it related to the Albatross, somehow?
And a vacform! Who knows when I´ll tackle my rareplanes Vac?

Brilliant job! Not the prettiest of planes, but photogenic nonetheless

Absolutely gorgeous. Never heard of the Mallard but wish I could get an injection one now

Grumman always made good-looking seaplanes. Excellent build from very unpromising materials.

Man, your vacform proficiency make me feel like im not a real modeler. My single attempt at a vac Nieuport 24 ended in lots of cussing, and a huge gash across the hand I was holding down the sheet with.

Keep up the awesomeness!

An excellent vac build, Vacant. Not a type that I'm familiar with but it is a handsome enough aircraft and that scheme suits it very nicely.

You knocked that out (including whatever scratch-building, spares-raiding and decal-making) in a couple of weeks!
Marvelous effort and model!

cheers,

David

How you turn lumps of plastic into such fine models really stumps me! Wonderful model - again!

Seems you turned up a truely obscure kit of an obscure aircraft as I had not heard of it either. That it makes a sequence of aircraft from the Widgeon onwards is very satisfying. Great work again
