Extremely well done Wildcat there - but is that an Airfix stand?

I like it. The Torch roundels add just enough color to keep it away from boring.

Lovely looking build Ken; the paint finish looks superbly flat
Best wishes

Been modelling for years, still learning . . . .
Model kits are meant to be assembled . . . . . . . . . . eventually.

Another one of your excellent classic kit builds, Celt, very nicely done.

Hi Lone Modeller,59North,iggie,FAAMAN,PTB11 and ShaunW,sorry I have not answered my post before now but my wife has been very ill and I have had not much time to myself, thanks for the kind words regarding my feeble attempts to build plastic models. It is an Airfix stand, this is the only Frog kit I have done that did not come with a stand and I have painted the canopy frames, not well but at least they are painted now. Thanks again for your kind words, much appreciated.
Regards celt.

That's a great little Wildcat, Celt :)

I recently built the Airfix new tool (of which I was a little wary of because of all the extra detailing), but you can't beat the Frog kits for their simplicity. I'm a huge fan of all the Grumman 'Cats' and now have one of each in my collection, either built or waiting to be built.

A great job. And may I just take this opportunity to wish your wife well.
Regards,
