"HIYA HONEY" 314th Troop Carrier Group, 9th Air Force, Spanhoe (Harringworth), March 1944. By April there were 30 Wacos at Spanhoe. No Wacos were used operationally from Spanhoe, they were used exclusively for training.

The Waco turned out very well, Ratch and it makes a change to see an assault glider. I agree, it looks good teamed up with the C-47

Lovely stuff Ratch. It's nice to see a glider on here, they're rare, and your mini diorama display with the figures and stuff are always good. Nice one mate!
