Hi all.

Here is another model I completed recently. Italeri's 1/71 scale Israeli Air Force, Kfir C7 is a nice easy build that modelers with basic skills will be able to complete without too much fuss. Cockpit detail is limited hence I opted to close the canopy. Not a lot of fine detail on the model itself or the underslung ordinance it can be displayed with. Considering that I payed NZ $11 I am not complaining. Paint was sprayed on with RustOleum (automotive) rattle can dark grey then masked with Blutack and then airbrushed with Testors Ghost Grey. A coat of clear gloss followed the painting. When the gloss had dried I spent several hours getting all the decals down. Some a very small and take fair amount of time to position them correctly. This was followed with a layer of satin varnish. Very little wash was applied and basically no weathering, as my reference photos showed the aircraft in a very clean and tidy condition. I have not added the pitot at the under the radome at the front. I have limited display space and the small bitsy parts are forever breaking off. Overall, a fun and easy model to build.

Regards

Marcus
