Matchbox North American T-2E Buckeye
Finally finished after a long gestation period, excluding the pitot which has dropped off again. This one is from the Revell reboxing so the decals were better and included I.P panels.interior detail consists of 2 seat shapes, I believe Pavla do a cockpit set so you can go to town if inclined. I'm not and usually add the crew however no pilot figures were included so I added 2 Airfix chaps, although they sit a little low in the cockpit. Painted mostly with Gunze Mr Hobby paints.

Beautiful! I always thought this was one of the better 'funny-looking aircraft. If only I had an excuse to build one...
Lovely finish anyway.

Hi James, the orange stripes are a full decal with clear spacing and the tanks were painted white. I took an educated guess on getting the demarcation correct. The were a bit of a worry and did crinkle when applied but this was sorted with a few passes of sol and set.Luckily Hataka international orange is a spot on match for the decal and i was able to touch in small areas that needed it.

Excellent job Shane, and yet another aircraft that the Hellenic Air got their moneys worth out of!
Best wishes

Really great build of this classic, Shane, that's a super job. I see from your WW thread that this build took around a year. I'd say that's rushing things a bit and I'd advise to slow it down more on the next project and savour the build

Thanks all, feels good to get a finish under my belt after a prolong period of disinterest in the dark arts.

That's a very sharp-looking build, Shangos70. I've never seen a Buckeye in any other scheme but US Navy. Cool.
