Wow, those Alitalia decals look excellent, Tony and the build is really coming to life now.

I have to say the decals are quite excellent and have not given any problem at all. I actually do like the window decals themselves. They really pop off the green stripe.

Lucyfur has claimed the box top as her own and is watching me decal the 727.

Looks like Lucyfur is something of an expert, considering the eyeballing you're getting!!

Looks great Tony, I have one of these stalled at the moment. Can't decide on a scheme.

Did you consider using an aftermarket windscreen decal?

Looks terrific. Nice that because the fuselage and wings are different colours, you can add the wings at the end.

Never even thought about that. Didn't think they made them for this kit.

It's definitely a plus. It's made it quite easier to decal it also.

I appreciate the offer, but it's almost done. And while not perfect, the windows did come out ok.

I do have the Air Canada decals I'm not going to use. You're welcome to them if you'd like. Just let me know

Aside from mounting this to the base, which is currently stained and drying, the 727 is finally complete. This is the first kit I've done or finished in more than a year. It did help with the modelling mojo a bit. Once I mount it to the base, I'll post some better pics. I did take a little liberty with some of the paint, particularly the engine nacelles. But as I model for the fun and not accuracy, I think it's quite ok. Enjoy, and as always, I enjoy feedback no matter the opinion. And I apologize for the pic quality. I just use my phone camera as it's easier to snap and post.

This was one feature that I really liked, and did make decaling it so much easier

Been modelling for years, still learning . . . .
Model kits are meant to be assembled . . . . . . . . . . eventually.
