Really enjoyed this build despite the much publicised inaccuracies, none of which were corrected during the build
For me, it is sufficiently close to looking like a Spitfire and that's good enough
Fit overall was really good, although it is worth watching the assembly of the upper and lower wing surfaces, and the fitting of the flaps if intended to be in the closed position. The detail in the cockpit is great, and responds well to a bit of dry-brushing and a wash of dirt, os as I did a coat of Tamiya Smoke plus matt varnish.
Paints externally were all AK Interactive acrylic, brush painted and finished with Winsor & Newton Galeria Matt Varnish. When the weather improves, I will add some exhaust and gun-port staining
