I may be repeating myself but I really would love to see a documented build of something like this! Great model.

I did a complete WIP on LSP some time ago if your interested!

Cheers
I'd be interested in seeing that if you have a link.

Great work, but Airfix have never made any 1/32 aircraft - could you mean Matchbox?
All models are equal. Some models are more equal than others.

My only (non) complaint about this forum is that it has so much wonderful information which, because of the passage of time, gets lost to new members (of which I count myself). I'm happy that recent comments brought it back-up to be found using the "View new posts" method.

Beautifully done work, Fozzy. The cabins are a treat.

I've said it before, you scratch-builders are a talented lot.

That is a very impressive model indeed, the more so as it is scratch built. I am pleased that Photobucket broke your links because by restoring the photos you have shown us newcomers, (of whom I am one), a truly impressive piece of modelling.

I mention it because of what you wrote
Fozzy wrote:when I was scaling the plans on my printer I saw that 1:30 scale would make the model a perfect size to fit in my display cupboard!!!....and also I guess that it would make it slightly bigger than the Airfix 1:32 offering...

Been said, but the Lysander is just superb, museum quality build, very well done indeed!!! :wow :wow
BTW the 1/32 scale Lysander is from Matchbox (PK-504) not Airfix, a great kit ;-)
Been modelling for years, still learning . . . .
Model kits are meant to be assembled . . . . . . . . . . eventually.

Now that is model making...stunning work. How about a 1/30th Wellington to add to the collection?
