Sea hawk looks good,
You can upload your avatar by going into User Control Panel, click on profile and then click on edit avatar and it's just like the old site then.

Cheers,

Great work, I like the canopy it looks like a vacform one, and nicely faired in.

Success! Thanks for that. But I still could swear the option wasn't there when I was trying! Jeeeeez! Seems age doesn't make me any sharper or smarter...

Thanks for the comments gents. Kit was made some 15 years ago. Canopy is from the kit which was just great, although I polished it a bit. Decals are from a Model Art set as the kit's were not that good and the roundels were off centre.

The "new" site looks very good. I like that it hasn't lost the old one's "feel", if you know what I mean.

All the best,

Jorge.

A very well executed model.

. . . dcg

All antennae on the fuselage and one perpendicular to the lower right wing were just good old stretched sprue. I would have preferred copper wire, but I couldn't find one thin enough.

Interestingly, I recall I replaced the main landing gear wheels with some from an Airfix Harrier GR.1 kit. They were the same diameter and far better than the kit ones.

Yours truly,

Jorge.

Considering its origin (Testors) its a really nice model. I like the look of this airplane and would like to build one some day. Very very cool.
