Excellent finish, I like the weathering, that's often difficult to do on a grey a/c, Well done.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

That's a belter Darryl. The weathering is very nicely done and really lifts the model IMHO.

It's definitely time for more Mig action in the Den so, to fill in the glaring gap between Mig-15s and Mig-21s, I've got these onto the bench.

Dragon's Mig-17 is without doubt the best -17 in 1/72nd scale although not that easy to get hold of these days.

MisterCraft's Mig-19 is a repop of the old KP kit but they've done a nice job of tidying up the tooling, removing all the heavy surface detailing and adding recessed panel lines. It still needs a little improvement in the cockpit and a few other little things but it does look a lot better than it's original incarnation. It comes with some very nice decals too. This cost me all of 4.50 Euros (about £4) so I don't begrudge a little resin or etch to give it a push :)

I intend to finish both kits in Soviet markings and NMF so a concurrent build is on the cards.

More progress when I get back from Modelkraft 2017 8-)

Have you seen the detail shown on the Mister Craft instructions that is totally absent on the relevant parts
Best wishes
