On a Spring day, 1971 . . .

my dear Father brought this home for me.

So began a life-long affair with the quaint hobby we call "model kitsets". Now I look back on 40 yrs cutting, sanding, glueing, painting (and occasional sidetracks into and out of marriage, therapy, etc.) with a trip down Forgettery Lane, and return to tip my nostalgia hat at that first kit.
This time I'll make a slightly better go at it.

Cheers

The same dodgy Israeli decals, I see....

I just got an early-70's verson of this kit - still a good 'un after all these years, but I did buy a set of aftermarket decals to go with it. ;-)
