Italeri P-51D Mustang

Post by Motley »

Here is my build of the Italeri P-51D Mustang that i bought recently, overall its a nice kit with abit of detail in places but lacks it in others such as the cockpit sides. The fit of some of the pieces isnt the best but with alittle work, it all fits together just right. Its looks like a P-51 but im no expert. It comes with three different finishs, a USAF bird, an RAF bird and a RNZAF bird, in the end i went for the RNZAF bird.

So here is my model finish as a P-51D of the New Zealand Air Force No.4 Squadron in February 1953,

Nice, Motley...I like seeing non-USAF P-51s. Good job with the decals
