Lightning F6, Revell 1/72

Post by Stupot »

Here's another I made earlier...

Painted with humbrol enamels using a paint brush. I decided to finish this model with a matt varnish.

Looks good Stu. Is that a new moulding?

That'll be the Hasegawa moulding, re-released as a 'new' kit by Revell, not that long ago.
(And how close is it to the old FROG Lightning F6, which was a Hasegawa moulding?)

Looks a nice Lightning, Stu.

Bruce

Thanks guys! It is an old moulding and I've built the Hasegawa one too but its one of those kits I could build again and again.

Very nice build of an old kit, well done. When this kit was released I bought one thinking it was the old Matchbox kit only to be dissapointed by such a dated offering even with a new canopy. given that Revell apparrently hold the moulds for both of the Matchbox Lightnings I was amazed by their decision to use the much older Hasegawa offering.
