Dutch Seahawk
Dutch Seahawk
In mid summer I have begun building this Seahawk FGA.50 kit. Initially wanted to do MPM, however Hobbyboss seemed for me more preferable. Hasegawa AIM-9B Sidewinders with pylons from Special Hobby kit. Decals from same SH kit, but later I replace it to DutchDecal. It was the long history with breaks. I believe that photos are more informative, than text. I finished in early October.
It became here clear: decal have big size, or Hobbyboss kit has a short tail part of fuselage... Letter "V" ( Valkenburg airbase) has been replaced on "D" ("Karel Doorman" aircraft carrier)
and finished kit

Looks good, Novokits. Strange that the decals are too big for the kit...

Re: Dutch Seahawk
Well, Zambia had a space program, Mongolia has a ship registry, Czechs did have 2 aircraft carriers. That is the world I like. ...But seriously, lovely build Novo and these sidewinders do give a very unique look to this A/C. Always liked Seahawks, always liked Sidewinders, cannot go wrong with both of them
