Fujimi 1/72 AF-1 Falcão - Marinha do Brasil

Post by novokits »

Ten years ago, I saw a cover of Airzone magazine and wanted to build Brazilian Skyhawk. Except this my desire, I did not have anything. Thanks Mr. Neomega for acquaintance with Coreldraw. Under its management, I drew decal. Some later He printed this decal on Alps printer. Also I got Fujimi A-4M kit. Unfortunately, at that time I did not finish building. Now - the time came...

and I found Hasegawa instruction sheet from 1/48 kit

So, after consulting with Snorry, I decided that I would use a paint those colors that is used for dyeing USMC A-4M. A-4KU from Kuwait held modernization in the United States, respectively, logic says that the paint colors should be standard for NAVY / USMC Aircrafts.
To determine borders colors, I'll use photographs of real AF-1.

Thanks Guys!
Today I finished my Brazilian Skyhawk. Not the best that I got, but I'm quite pleased with the result. Squadron emblem larger than actually needed in 1/72. All other things - please, see photos.

Seconded. It looks very neat.

It's nice to see models in more unusual markings too.
