Matchbox Grumman F9-F5 Panther " Blue Angels" 1/72

Another oldie . Not a bad little kit again the decals had lots of nasty gloop under them . Painted Tamyia XF7 then gloss coated . Canopy frames were clear decal paper sprayed gloss white .

Very nice. Great work with the framing. This is why I much prefered Airfix as a kid though - hard to define though!

Looks smart Shane...you've been a busy little modeller, haven't you?

Same Matchbox offering, but using the alternative kit decals to represent an F9F-4 of VMF-341 at Cherry Point M.C.A.S. in 1954.

Wonderful Panthers.
It is a great kit isn't it. I remember doing one for the Korean war build last year.

Great work, as usual Shane. Your care and tidy paint work really bring the best out of these kits.
