I can see there being lots of unused Spectrum decal sheets when this is over, I wonder what they'll end up on?

One thing that has always bugged me about the Angel is those lumps at the wing root. I guess you could use them as wheel wells if you are whiffing an undercarriage but really they look like they'd cause a lot of aerodynamic issues. They need blending in.

I agree, I plan to reduce the bump and add smaller bulges at the wing root a bit like the Venom had.

I'm in - going Trad. I also have the boxed set, which I believe is the bargain of the century so far. $10 brand new in a discount shop, couldn't believe myh luck, and the kids love it.

Back in 1985 I bought a gift set containing an Angel Interceptor, Spitfire Mk1, Skyhawk and MG K3 Magnette, theconfidencestoat's could be the same one.

This is not a sign up but rather a gleaning of ideas. My intercepor arrived and I have been giving some thought to a two seater. Any ideas?

I'd suggest finding a suitable canopy and basing your mods upon that. Perhaps a Phantom one will work?
Definitely a tandem arrangement.

This weekend is the halfway point and we've got some cracking builds in progress, with an ace mix of whifs and canon.
It's been great seeing imaginations leaking all over the shop.
We've got some new members joining in and a whole fortnight to go.

I'm dragging my heels, trying desperately not to be the first to finish a model, so who's going to complete soon?

Regards,
Bruce

I've just noticed, while sanding down my first couple of coats of primer, that the big A is very faintly scribed on the underside.
