TimJ's Raspberry Ripple Angel
After considering a few optons and checking my decal stash I'll be building mine as an EPTS example in 'Raspberry Ripple' livery. I'll post the sprue shots etc. tomorrow.

As Titan have covered the contents of the box comprehensively in his thread I'll just post the box and sprue shots here.

Re: TimJ's Raspberry Ripple Angel
I haven't done much yet, just stuck the wings together and painted the pilot and seat. I know there's only a couple of weeks to go so I'll get cracking in the next day or two.

Re: TimJ's Raspberry Ripple Angel
I've made some progress on the Angel but as I lost my internet connection last Friday I haven't been able to post any pics (I'm in the local library at the moment). I may be able to get a few pics up on Saturday.

Re: TimJ's Raspberry Ripple Angel
As promised a couple of pics of my progress so far. After fitting a bulkhead to the rear of the cockpit the pilot and his seat were added.
It was a bit of a squeeze but the canopy just fits as can be seen in the next photo. The airframe was assembled and after the obligatory filling and sanding sessions it was given a coat of white primer and to add a little colour the outer wings and skids were painted red.
If I can concentrate on this over the rest of the weekend and can get to the library on Monday I should have more pics then , possibly of the finished article.

Re: TimJ's Raspberry Ripple Angel
I finished the paintwork over the weekend and this is how it stood last night.
Some of the masking was a bit tricky but considering this is my first attempt at a Raspberry Ripple scheme I think it's turned out well. I've got decals for the red stripes between the blue and white areas so I should be finished in the next day or two.
I'll probably also add some serial numbers under the wings to liven it up a bit.

Re: TimJ's Raspberry Ripple Angel
Now that looks really cool. The scheme matches the shape very well.

Two thumbs up. Good work all around.
