Well an hour long decalling sess has seen this finished. The decals are excellent as you'd expect from Cartograph. All the stencils are readable (if you've got good eyesight) hence I move #8 from the side of the fuselage to the ailerons as they said no step. The long red stripe took a while to get straight as the convex curve of the spine-fin mean you can't pull it straight.

Bar a coat of Klear I'm calling this done and I'll take better photos at the weekend.

The final model looks pretty nice but a lot of that is the excellent decals and the extra refinements made, to be honest it's a bit of a sad old kit marred by the Snapfit mods. A new canopy would have been a nice touch as Airfix's own plans show the kit part to be far too flat.

Very nice, James.
I take your point that, in order for a modeller to make the Angel look at least reasonable, you can't be a novice.
It'd be ace if this was chosen to be one of the New Tools!
