hopefully but the starter box art is for jg26 schlageter, but i have ordered some decals from ebay....
heres the link from hannants...

so im still working on a colour scheme, hopefully with the 33 different aircraft that is on this sheet will include the papagai staffel...if not i will go for a different squadron ( obviously) but i will keep the build informed once the sheet has arrived.

I see Red 3 and 13 of JV44. The Brown 5 I believe would be for the wide tail version. What a beautiful sheet.

Good data Brews and thanks. I am no expert on this but I have read that there are four confirmed uses of the big tail on the Fw190D9. Not all of the series numbers are confirmed however. Off the top of my head there was Brown 4 and a Yellow 6.

right i have started, its the first time that i have participated in a single kit group build and actually started on the first day...but here goes. Stage one pain inside the cockpit...done, add seat...done paint seat done , join fuselage halves done.
this is where i sort of went off on one, i constructed my wings clamped them and left em whilst i fitted the cannon section of the upper fuselage, this is a bit of a pig especially where the from canopy meets the fuselage at the front, theres a bit of a gap. Im going to leave this until i fit the canopy to see if it needs filler.

2 hours in to the build i have the fuselage joined together and the wings on, taileron on and already its starting to look like a FW190. Seams have completely vanished and its shaping up to be a good kit...from my experience of recent starter kit this could be a good accompanyment to little Johnnys Mustang....

so before i get the post is worthless without pictures tag here we go....
