dirk you should go with ur scheme and get the starter kit and do the JV44 scheme with that...the scheme isnt in the box so youll have to use your other decals...

I would build another.....and I might yet....ill get this one finished first....

oh yeah....thx brews on the starter kit there is no common section....but there might be one on the sky models decal sheet, ill see if i can find one....thx for the rlm decode btw i did mine in rlm 02. i knew what it was but didnt know how they equated. I was confused cos 66 is quite dark but its all good now..

This build reminded me how great single kit group builds are and for that i thank you...

only draw back is the hannants flat varnish has dried high gloss, so I have diluted it further and added another coat and will continue to add coats every 30 minutes until its flat.....

more in the gallery thanks again for all of your comments and feedback throughtout the build, i couldnt have done it without you....

in summary, from starter kit to finished product, which is a surprise. whilst it doesnt have the decal sheet of the normal boxed kit, it doesnt have some of that kits problems either, this went together really well and i have enjoyed this build immensely. im actually pleased with the finished article and i havent left it to the last minute...although i may do another...LOL
