Great work so far. What color did you use for the red?

Re: Ians D-9
Dirk, it's H174.
Mark, the decals were not a problem, as you can see below. Although I did wonder why on the starboard rear wing the stripes were a single decal and on the port side they were three separate ones. Also, the stripes in front of the wheel bays are indicated by a single decal ref no. but are actually also three separate ones as well. Odd.....
Top side is done too.
All that's left to do is finish painting wheels and bay doors. Decals on the bay doors. Add the tail wheel and paint the prop & spinner.
Should have this one complete over the weekend.

Are you having a laugh, Bruce? If it's taken this long (so far) to build one, I have no chance from now on. School has ended so I have the kids around now and there's this little thing called Christmas coming up. If I even think about putting paint to plastic on Christmas Day I am sure to end up divorced!

OK, Bruce. But I think I'll wait till next years Blitz for building at light speed!
So, Dora is just about complete.
Just need to give the prop blades a second coat of H91 and attach to the aircraft. Then it's done.
I've even added an aerial wire!

And in case you are wondering, yes, that is a piece of Tamiya tape on the inside of the canopy.
Guess which idiot didn't double check that he'd removed all the odds and ends after trimming his masking?

And here we are.
