Re: Rutan Voyager
The decals look good to me, long ones are pain at the nest of times.

Very nice, Rutan designs are great, I love the Long Ez. That was always my preferred choice when I was studying my PPL had I been able to afford my own aircraft and hangerage costs.
Would quite like a kit of one but have yet to see one.

Looks great, John.
m1ks - while there isn't a plastic kit of the Long EZ, there is an RC kit:

Here we are ... All done, or at least as done as it will be. The astute among you will note the 4 rectangular windows don't appear real glassy -- they aren't in. The pieces were terrible, I futzed with one for 20 minutes to get it to fit and it fell inside. Since this will hang from the ceiling, the windows aren't really needed.
If you can read the ruler, you'll see this thing has a span of about 48cm ....
Not exactly a fun kit and I think I've covered most of that above. Still it will look good hanging from the ceiling with the Global Flyer.
I will put up a Gallery picture in a couple days when the GF is done and I can show them together.

Scotch tape, or PVA glue...to be replaced periodically.
Looks great as is, John. Looks to be a problematic model to display.

Bruce

I'm thinking of the two of them in a tight echelon (left or right) banking, probably fairly nose-on to the entry door.
Single hook in the ceiling to one (or two) lengths of acrylic rod ... sort of a mobile ...
BTW, I should tell you, Bruce, that it's hand-painted (and looks it, but overall gloss white probably wasn't the best choice for that ...)
BTW 2, my first choice was to glue the glass (or anything) in when still unassembled then paint over it with clear blue at the end ... there is nothing to see in there ... but I thought I'd play hero and try it the right way ...
