There will now be a short intermission whilst the gloss coat dries, I have used an acrylic gloss that goes on slightly milky but dries clear.

Main parts completed just have to wait for the paint to dry, before adding the decal.

Sorry Tonto I missed you message, I'm still waiting for the gloss to dry so no photo.

I think I have used the wrong grey for the underside I have used light grey and I think I should have used sky grey, it might need a quick blow over

Nice work Splash, I'll be doing the same kit for this GB, how have you found it overall?

Cheers,
Paul

Hi Paul

It's a great little kit no problems with the fit, good detail and you get two sets of sharks teeth one US and this UK version.

I have had to brake out the lego until the u/c sets, so it's time to stop and eat.

Almost there I made an error and painted the underside with the wrong grey so I have hairy sticked on two coats of a lighter grey, all thats now left is the prop tips and to add some small items like the HF mast.

I’m now calling this one finished. I will let it all settle down for a couple of days then give it a bit of weathering, the fine panel lines are just crying out for a wash but the paint is still to fresh.

I can fully recommend this kit it is a real gem.

Thanks for all you comments and support it has been a fun day.
