Just back from getting a primer coat - the 1/72 figures are the ones that will be used in the diorama - the fellas with hats, muskets and swords - not the U-boat crew at the back. (The seated 1/24 figures are for the Revell London Bus and the 1/32 Riflemen are just for fun - nothing particular in mind for them - just figure painting exercise).
... so which Classic British Box Art picture might these figure be used to help re-create (with a little modification admittedly)?
Cheers
Al.

Good try but not it Paul. I should explain that these figures are the closest approximation to the chaps in question, but they do feature in a rather cramped crowd scene on the box art so total accuracy of costume is not a high priority - just getting the vibe right is what I'm aiming for.PaulBradley wrote:The mounted Cavalier/Roundhead?

Nope - you need to go further back another over 250 odd years...Boldman wrote:Waterloo British Infantry?

If it's what I think it is, it's noticeable that whoever did the new "red box" release box art for this subject is a lot less comfortable drawing crowds of little guys than the original artist that Al is following in the brushstrokes of...
