Very little left to do now, just add the lights, decals and finish the crew.

That is absolutely amazing!! I had better remember to drive carefully with this on board, I'd hate to damage it.

SPLASH SMASHES IT!!

Beautiful job mate. There is so much character in that subject, and being a nighttime scene adds so much atmosphere. I can see that one being the star of the table. We may video some of the peoples responses to it make you feel even worse about not coming :ha:

I may ask James to see if we can book a show for 2013 nearer your (and Tom's) neck of the woods that you will be able to attend - then you will be able to bask in the glory yourself!

Cheers
Al.

There's always the Yeovilton show though I think it might be a bit close to Huddersfield, saying that I can accomodate 1 or 2 extra CBK'ers in my little abode so that would take a little of the financial sting out of multiple shows.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and support, I just hope the quality of my build does not let the side down.

I'm calling it finished, all I have to do is make a box and take some proper glamour shots.

I personally think this kit is a real Airfix Classic that builds into a good looking model straight out of the box, the things that made it a real challenge was the very brittle red plastic that had mould lines on every part, plus a medium dollop of flash.

I really have enjoyed the build even though its taken me totally out of my comfort zone not having any wings, in the wrong scale and on a display base with figures.

T'is a wonderful thing Splash and it really captures the mood of the box art. Your background is a nigh on perfect. The model looks great and you've paid attention to the little details; I was going to point out that little wisp coming off the radiator but you've got it!

We'll be proud to have it on the stand I'm sure it's going to attract a lot of attention. I just hope you will be able to make one of the future model shows and accept some well deserved praise.

Thanks James the wisp was a last minute thought, its just a little piece of torn paper towel.
