You'll have to wait for a full report but things are going great with a lot of praise and interest garnered for the builds. Here are some pics of the builds to wet your appetite:

Looks good James, if quiet!
I'm wondering if any other SIGs or Branches did some of their own boxart diorama?

When it was quiet early on (when everyone was queuing for the kit swap) was the only time that I could nip out and grab some pics without barging people out of the way. I was saying to the guys I keep trying to take a pic of when it's busy but then so are we chatting to people.

Not seen any other boxart builds but then I have hadn't time to look at the other displays much yet.

It might take a little while for this to be available, but here's the video tour...

Looks fantastic, well done to all! Just wish I could have been there and contributed. Hopefully there will be next year. How is Tom and the CC SIG, they are next door to CBK aren't they?

Tom is coping admirably. The models are getting plenty of interest and some of the old know-it-alls have met there match with Tom ;-)

Wonderful, smashing dioramas guys, hat's off to all of you, some real eye poppers there.

Did you not have any last years ones there? Are they all with Airfix?

Looks a bit odd without the green screens behind you guys, sort of your signature background

Matt thanks for posting that video, very enjoyable.

Well done folks.

I've been, I've seen and can report that these dios are once again an absolute delight and a credit to their builders. Very well done to you all.

Just one additional pic of the whole display with some of the happy elves. Stood behind it all day looking at the backs of boards, seeing behind the wizard's curtain you forget how good it looks from the punters side!

I'm just winding down some nice beer at my folks and will write more shortly. I would like to thank all those who manned the tables over the weekend and did their bit volunteering their services to IPMS(UK) Matt, Jack, Iain, Martin (who was only there till 2pm on Sat!), Tom who did a brilliant job on the CC SIG stand pretty much by himself and still managed to swell the membership! I would personally like to big up Alan 'Beany' for taking on the role of 'Show Master General' and being the driving force behind the display this year, we couldn't have done it without you. Alan has also been liaising with Airfix and got all last years build neatly reboxed for handing over to them.
