jssel wrote:That would be great, Splash. The Spit is a very good kit and wonderful blitzer. That Fokker was a Spitfire. :ha:

Well somebody would have said it, right?
I will tell you if it's a Fokker once I have built it

I have that very ME 262 in my stash and that blitz by Flakmonkey is unreal. I have also heard that the kit is something of a devil and to see one built in 24 hours and to that standard is quite something.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

To be fair, the poor old Trimaster/ DML kit gets a bad rap. There are very few gotchas lying in wait and I had the advantage of having built quite a few of them over the years. I prefer them to the Tamiya 262 from a builder's point of view.

Just a reminder folks. Please make your comments on the builders thread and not in the Gallery. That way we have a nice tidy gallery for future references.

Cheers everyone.

Gregers wrote:OK. I was looking for something totally non model related and a Matchbox Vickers Wellesley fell off a box right in front of me and landed on my foot. Not sure about this karma thing but I've now got my kit to build.

All the best.

Greg

I can relate to this, I was searching for my second Revell Lanc kit to do some comparing ( see the build thread here :http://uamf.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=2758 ), and this ( along with an Airfix VC 10 literally fell on my head )

So I've got my build for this Blitz, I was going to do it today , but it's 30 degrees and sunny here in Merimbula, so the kids have ( rightfully) demanded beach time, so it's out with the boogie boards and off we go. Hopefully it will rain next week-end !

I'd like to find a day to do another. I'm looking.

Seven completed with one very close to done. Fantastic.

Couple of very busy days here. Looks like everyone is having a great time. I know I am.

Still looking over the calender for another prospective date.

A new title for this Blitzbau maybe. "Facebook meets Blitzbau X". What a hoot.

This might be the best Blitzbau we've had up to now, it's certainly one of the busiest. Looks like everybody has brought their A game to this one.

We are at 14 for 14 guys. Extreme well done. I am still counting on one more for myself with just under two weeks to go.
