No need to be sorry Bruce because I think that I would rather be skiing on a weekend if the opportunity presented itself rather than sticking bits of plastic together that's for sure.. ;-)
Anyway I am thinking of doing another blitz so you could always drop in on that one. :-D

Looks very nice. Good recovery on the fuselage band, can't see a thing !!!

That's the beauty of these blitz GB's as you can try things out that you wouldn't normally incorporate into a normal build and if it pans out then that's a bonus a valuable lesson learnt.
If on the other hand it does not work out as in the case of the lifting paint then that's good too because I now know how to get around it, so no worries if it happens on a normal build.
