Nice stuff. It always amazes me on how large that nose wheel was/supposed to be.
Homestretch for this one.

Thanks very much Shane and Jeff. and Mr Monkey.
It amazes me also Jeff, it looks like a giant doughnut on the front LOL.
The shark's mouth came from the newly tooled Airfix Bf109 sheet, the Finnish option, I had to cut it through the middle but went on almost perfectly, lucky with that one me thinks.
Well you'll be happy to know that I have finished it, it's been a struggle but I got there in the end.
Again thank you to everybody that's been looking in.
Sorry forgot the watch but finished it about 11.15am tthis morning.
Here tis.
And a group shot...
I've added a pitot tube on the single seat as well while I did the nightfighter's, multi tasking or what.
Regards
Mark

Well I managed to miss the end of this one. Excellent result Mark, the shark's teeth suit it surprisingly well! You've ended up with a fine pair of Hortens there.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Well done, both of them.
Seeing the tape problem in the first and your solution in the second is the sort of thing that makes these as instructive as they are fun.

Well done on a great finish, I like the way you did the toned down squigals that's a tip I will use at some time.
The sharks mouth looks so right.

Thanks guys.
I don't think these Horten kits are as bad as I have heard, yes not very detailed and a bit rough but look ok once built.
The sharkmouth was just a spur of the moment thing Bruce whilst I was looking for some unit badges to go onto the nacelles and that decal just happened to be on the same sheet, not planned but looks good. I should really drop the rlm76 demarcation line right down to cover the black just above the mouth but that will be for another day.
