Re: TimJ's Thunderbolt
Looking good.
I tend to use acrylic paints all the time now, the drying time is much quicker and you can speed it up using the wife's hair dryer.
Your yellow & red has come out good, nice bright and solid.
Regards

Wish I had thought of that when she had a hair dryer, but she sold the Polo and bought a Golf insteadsplash wrote:the drying time is much quicker and you can speed it up using the wife's hair dryer.
Good choice of colour scheme there Tim.
Would ya like to learn to fly? Would ya? Would you like to see me try?

Re: TimJ's Thunderbolt **Finished**
Finished with half an hour to spare.
A quick coat of Revell matt varnish and there you have it.
A nice kit and not too much filler, what more do you want. I'll put some pics in the Gallery later. Now I'm of to peel some spuds and make a sponge pudding.

Terrific build. Well done.
Besting 60 years of mediocre building of average kits in the stand off scale

I don't think the sponge will rise if you use spuds.
Congratulations on the build, it looks great.
