Flakmonkey tries to master a 190 **FERTIG**
As it isn't a blitz until somebody tries to do something stupid, I shall selflessly volunteer myself. Cue the old Trimaster Fw-190 in a Dragon box.
There are some missing decals which must have been used for something else, so I shall be brave and mask/ spray the offending items. The controversial undercarriage shall be summarily dealt with. As usual, there shall be no tomfoolery during this build whatsoever. Blitzes are serious things. Very serious.
Kick off will be, probably, some time on Tuesday the 14th, a date to which my wife has mysteriously attached some significance. I will Google it when I have chance.

I think it's looks can be improved by leaving the silly slipper tanks in the box where they belong.

I can see it now. Happy Valentine's Day, Dear. I'll be watching Flak build a very weird Fdub.

I suspect that the degree of fun to be had will depend upon which side of the victim/spectator divide one happens to be.

I am offering the slipper tanks as a prize for the most off-topic post made during the build.

Re: Flakmonkey tries to master a 190
Prizes keep the punters happy, and it is a very good prize. Actually I have some other prizes that I may give away during the course of the build for totally random reasons. Some lucky UAMFers will be walking away with any one from the following list of goodies:
• A stamp.
• An empty Tamiya paint jar.
• The Dorito I found down the back of the sofa on Saturday - I think it's tangy cheese flavour.
• The little tube of Humbrol cement that comes in Airfix git sets.
• A rechargeable AA battery (no longer holds a charge, repairable?)
Cash alternatives will not be offered. Judges decision final. Please allow 28 days for delivery.
Fantastic crowd pleasing stuff even if I say so myself. I thought I would get the sprue shots out of the way now. Eagle eyed readers will note that there are quite a lot of parts in these kits. This is concerning.

What colour empty paint jar?
I only need three more for a full set and don't want to win a duplicate empty paint jar.
