Re: Titan's PMModel 1/72 DFS-194***STARTED***
I just knew you were going to fall into my trap Bruce and say the 328 :lol:and whilst you are right in all that you said unfortunately you are not correct, it is the Ta-154 I was contemplating blitzing.
Maybe though it would be to much work to make into a decent model for a blitz, still got nearly two weeks left to decide....
Regards
Mark

Great work, the colour looks spot on, when I built mine I used a bright yellow to start with and it looked horrid, I did the same as you and mixed my own, which came out looking very similar to what you have come up with.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Didn't want to be the one to say this but there is a nasty seam showing on the vertical stab. An easy fix for sure, Mark. Especially with the time remaining.

Right back to it after my 2 1/2 hour break
Thanks Splash and Jeff I did notice it a little while after I uploaded the photo, it's now fixed.
I have also painted the skid a woody colour and coated it with Tamiya clear orange.
The dolly has also been painted and when dry I will attach the wheels.
I should be able to start the decal strips next.
I got some clear decal paper cut to the amount that I thought I needed and sprayed it first with RLM02 which would be the interior colour. Next and when dried I sprayed the airframe colour over that and will cut it into thin strips and apply them to the canopy as frames once they have been dunked in warm water to release them.
As for trying both Bruce I would probably have done so but I only have the Ta-154 left in the stash from the country of Germany.
Regards
Mark

Looking very good. The colour looks spot on to me - good bit of mixing there.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Thanks Shaun.
The masking removed from the canopy and the decal strips have been cut, so on they go.
I made my own probe out of stretched sprue, I may just call that it there is not anything that I could do to it now as I have just coated it in klear I will have to sleep on that one just so I can take the build on into another part day....lol

Canopy frames look really good. You're spinning this out now in a true soap opera stylee
