Morning, splash. Watching off and on between "honey-do" projects. Better not stray to far because you are almost done.

Hi guys thanks for all the support, finishing the kits took less time than I thought it would, all I had to do was add some aerials and paint some small parts.

All three kits built with no drama almost out of the box, I did add some extra detail to the M113 as the guards around the base of the turret needed removing and scratch building, apart from that and wire aerials it’s all straight out of the box.

I’m happy with the CD bases, I gave the road version a light blow over with the buff paint to add depth to the road surface and I think if I add some grass or scrubs to the other two it will improve them. For cheap quick bases I'm happy with the way they turned out, they not going to win any prizes, but they do look better than just the basic kit on the shelve and they are cheap and quick to make.

For my first time attempt at building AFV in a very long time I have enjoyed it, next time I will up the scale, as I think 1/76 is a tad to small.

All in all, a big thumbs up to Airfix for re-badging these kits they are plain simple and straightforward to build and look like what they are supposed to.

Those are excellent Splash, good job all around I say and those Cd bases, well I can see something similar ending up underneath some of my braille scale AFV's.
Well done on completing your Blitz.

Excellent Splash, all three vehicles look great. Looks like the CD idea has gone down well, I bet it's not long before we see other small scale vehicles presented in the same way. The road dio looks even better now with the blow over.

All good things must come to an end. I suppose I will have to do some work now!

Very nice finish on all 3 kits.

I expect to see a tutorial on making those bases appear soon, they are great.

Good job Splash! I'm really surprised with speedy builds. I like highlights, however I think it will help to add some wash to bring up some details and add some depth.
Nice idea with the bases. It would be nice to add some figures...

Keep them coming!
