Motoring along nicely Splash, I reckon you will have to give us all a proper TP on the CD base creations.

Just caught up with this build and it's like being at work again!

You actually made your own clock!
You combined Jeremy Kyle, with Marillion and Alvis.
You made 3 brilliantly conceived stands...
...And you made significant progress on 3 AFV's.

I assume that you're doing all of this whilst suspended from a bungee, spinning in a Force 10?

Why can't life be like this all of the time?

Bruce

Now without the aid of a net, I will try to airbrush highlights using buff coloured paint, thinned down and applied with low pressure.

Images later if it works.

If the cd system works I will knock up a tutorial.

Talk to you all later, that's if I'm not to tyred. ( did you see what I did then tyred ) :ha: :ha: :ha:

I am feeling a bit run down. :ha: :ha: :ha:

It,s now 10:00 and I'm not going to be able to finish all three tonight, they need all the little bits painting and lots of arials making, so I'm invoking the 12 - 12 rule and will stop work until 10:00 tomorrow.

I have sprayed the highlights and given them all a brown oil wash so I need to leave them overnight for the wash to dry.

Here is the photos of with highlights and with an oil wash.

See you all tomorrow.

Sorry I was starting to feel the pressure. It's difficult to keep track with these jokes.

The good news is I don't need to make any links to the tracks.

In daylight I'm happy with the post shading, last night I thought it looked overdone.

The oil wash has dried and brought out the detail.
