I've recently acquired a Revell 1:24th Jaguar XK SS that would be perfect for the GB. At the moment though, it's a matter of time management and workbench clearance before I can commit to this GB.

I don't think I'll be taking part but my recent acquisition of a Tamiya Lotus 102B means I will now be watching with great interest.

I'm going to be just getting back from a short holiday on the 5th, so I will have to trust you gentlemen to select first and gently pull away from the curb by yourselves on Monday. You can start whenever it is Monday where you are. Don't forgot to dig out some car bore fact about your subject.

I've got the new Airfix mini incoming so I'll sign up if its all right. It will be my first GB on the new website. Whilst waiting for the mini to arrive, I've got a AMT Firebird to start off with first.

Ok, time to slip into first gear and proceed ahead at a steady pace.

Given that I started a day early, I've been sat in a Little Chef, tucking into snorkers and waiting for everyone else.
Fortunately, I arrived just before a coachload of French schoolkids pulled in.
