Greg's Brick on wheels
Greg's Brick on wheels
I've got myself an Airfix Landrover series 3 LWB Safari from evilbay and this is what I will be building. As with the real vehicle this kit has plenty of conversion potential. I've not decided what to hack this one into as yet but it almost definitely won't be oob.

I wouldn't expect anything else than a Landie from your Greg. You shouldn't need to look at the instruction sheet

I've gone for the Builders' Yard truck, lots of scope for weathering and stuff piled in the back.

Re: Greg's Brick on wheels
I voted "A rolling junk yard dog" because I don;t have a clue what it is either... I assume its cute and cuddly (big floppy ears and slobbers all over the place) Or it is really mean and nasty with stainless steal ball tearing nashers.

Re: Greg's Brick on wheels
For the junk yard dog I am thinking about a Landy that was used to literately push and drag the scrap cars round at a yard I did some work for. It was the roughest vehicle I have ever seen that still moved under it's own power.

Re: Greg's Brick on wheels
Well, short of a last minute rush it looks like it's the junk yard dog (Dog - Rover . geddit) it'll deffo be a cut up job for this one. Am thinking crew cab and towing rig on the back. Not to mention the 'well used' look.
All the best.

I voted for the builders yard but the scrap yard dog is a great choice, I can't wait to see you start.
