Re: Tim's Petite Peugeot
Looks a suitably period colour.

Sort of a "gloomy blue". Very nice build though

Re: Tim's Petite Peugeot
I should make it. Can't decide whether to use silver paint or Bare Metal Foil for the chrome trim. I think the BMF might be too fiddly in 1/43.

Re: Tim's Petite Peugeot
I decided to go with the silver paint so I've been painting some of the trim today. I still need to do the trim strips along the bottom of the doors and the waistline.
As far as the chassis is concerned I only need to fit the steering column and hubcaps. I should be finished tomorrow unless something unexpected crops up.

Re: Tim's Petite Peugeot
Despite some last minute acceleration I've just failed to finish within the time. (Spent too much time trying to finish the F-14.)
The windows were a very tight fit so I ended up cutting them just before the rear screen to get them in.
The chassis is all done and waiting for the bodyshell.
Not a lot to do so I should be finished tomorrow.

Re: Tim's Petite Peugeot
Nothing much left to do, we'll call that a completion if you post pics tomorrow.

Re: Tim's Petite Peugeot
Finished it after I got home from work this evening. The bodyshell wasn't a very good fit, in the end I had to use superglue to stop it springing apart from the floorpan.
It doesn't look to bad but I think it might have been better if I'd fitted the interior to the floorpan later to get it lined up better.
