Looking good Splash.
Cheers

Good point Jim, but I'm in luck as he was wearing a wax jacket with a life jacket on top so no need to paint his colourful shirt.
I might try to add his wax jacket using tissue and PVA glue and use lead foil for the life jacket straps and plastic card or filler for the life jacket.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.
Great news on the job front Splash. What have you done to May's hair though?! And as for his left hand...!!

Sorry but other builds and a new job has meant that I will not have time to finish this build in time.
I have enjoyed this GB it has given me a chance to try scratch building an odd ball subject, it's just a shame I only completed two out of the four builds I started.
The stumbling block on this build has been the base I have had to use lots of thin layers of PVA glue to blend in the car to its water base and I'm not yet happy with the result, plus James May has needed a lot more work than I first thought but I'm getting there.
I'm very happy with how the car has turned out in particular the sails, the orange tissue and PVA has given me the effect I was after.
I will plod on with this and show the results in the car & boat section when I finally finish.
Thanks for all your support.
Regards
