I did that once, but in my case I broke my right index finger and just self splinted it. I was absolutely useless for about a week -- I found it amazing how unable I was to adapt many of my habits to use different fingers. The only thing I could keep doing was typing on the computer because I do not "type" but rather have this really strange 3-finger style using my right middle-finger and thumb and my left third-finger.

Despite the setbacks, I've managed to start painting the Jag.
It's had a few coats already so I'll leave it for a day or so before demasking and, hopefully, a bit of assembly.
It's not going to be finished before the end of the GB but I'll keep plugging away until it's done. Thanks to all of you who posted messages of encouragement. I've regained quite bit of dexterity at the moment but I'm still a little ham-fisted ("What's new" I hear you cry ).
I'll keep up the reports either in workbench window or the vehicles section
